Yes. Tap in and out at the barriers exactly as you would on the Tube, and you are charged the £26 walk-up single — the same as tapping a contactless bank card or phone. A Railcard loaded onto your Oyster applies its discount. What you do not get is TfL pricing: Heathrow Express sits outside the daily cap and Travelcards, so the tap counts for nothing towards them.
